CHA DONG – introducing artisanal Hong Kong style milk tea in the UK

Whilst Hong Kong milk tea is traditionally consumed within a café environment, the pandemic and increased remote working has changed how this beverage is consumed.
Adopted from the traditional English breakfast tea, over time, the practice of consuming milk tea in Hong Kong began to adapt to local palates which gravitated towards richer tasting teas.
Hong Kong style milk tea is brewed using a unique technique which results in stronger, more aromatic flavours without the astringent aftertaste commonly associated with tea which has been steeped for too long.
This craftsmanship which was designated a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage of Hong Kong in 2014 and here at CHA DONG, we are pleased to introduce this to the UK in a bottled form, so that people can enjoy at their own leisure – home, office… wherever they are.

Today, more and more people are becoming acquainted with Asian milk teas and seeking out new flavours and, together with the growing Hong Kong population in the UK and renewed interest in handcrafted, artisanal products, this creates the perfect storm for introducing bottled Hong Kong style milk teas to your customers.
Brewed using our own blend of tea leaves, our teas are only slightly sweetened with less than 5% added sugar before being bottled in 100% recyclable, UK-produced bottles.
