Togo began in 2009 with an aim to help restaurants increase their business and market themselves efficiently online. We created a small food guide for our home town and it immediately became the most popular advertising medium for eateries in the area. We also offered inexpensive websites to help get our clients online.
Over time our food guides and customer coverage grew nationally and we realised that what our clients needed was a simple and effective way of marketing themselves via email and social networks and collecting their customer data that required no technical help or knowledge and didn`t cost the earth...
We spent a year consulting with our clients and working with our development partners to create the most flexible and affordable booking system on the market. We also invested in new talent and went from creating budget websites to high end websites that we`re still extremely keen on price.
We invested heavily in branding and design to make sure that our product was beautiful and easy to use and began testing it across our existing client base. Thanks to their feedback the product evolved and improved.
The Togo booking system launched in 2015 and by the start of 2016 it had taken over a million bookings.
